Student Recognition & Rewards
Quarterly Assemblies
Each quarter, we celebrate academic excellence and positive behavior across all grade levels. Classes are recognized for academic achievement, while individual students are honored for remaining referral-free. Assemblies also provide an opportunity to share important school updates and upcoming events.
Cadet of Character
Each month, students from every class are recognized for demonstrating a featured character trait, such as honesty, perseverance, trustworthiness, patience, kindness or integrity. Cadets of Character receive a certificate, enjoy a special lunch and participate in a group photo.
CADET Cash
Students can earn CADET Cash for strong attendance, consistent effort and outstanding behavior. Each month, students can use their earned CADET Cash to shop at the CADET Store.
Cultural Celebrations
Hispanic Heritage Celebration
Our after-school Hispanic Heritage Celebration invites families to explore classrooms featuring immersive experiences highlighting Hispanic cultures. Led by our School Improvement Liaison (SIL), the event encourages cultural curiosity and appreciation through hands-on activities and a meal inspired by traditional cuisine.
Black History Night Celebration
Families are invited to explore classrooms highlighting influential figures, traditions and achievements in Black history. The evening combines educational experiences, cultural learning and a meal inspired by Black history and traditions.
Asian/Pacific Islander Celebration
This after-school event celebrates the diverse cultures of Asia and the Pacific Islands through themed classroom experiences and hands-on activities. Families also enjoy a culturally representative meal while learning about the traditions and cultures of the region.
