Meet the Principal
Ashlie Simpson
It is my honor to serve as the principal of Levan Scott Academy. As a proud graduate of Lima Senior High School, my journey in education began with a bachelor's degree from Wright State University, followed by two master’s degrees in Early Elementary Education and Educational Leadership from the University of Findlay and Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).
Since 2012, I have had the privilege of passionately serving Fort Wayne Community Schools—as a teacher for grades 4 & 5 and most recently as an assistant principal for three years. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to transforming schools and ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality education and meaningful learning experiences.
I consider it a true blessing to walk in my purpose each day—serving students, teachers and families. My mission is to unlock the greatest potential in every child, inspiring them to dream big and turn those dreams into reality. I am proud to work alongside a dedicated and compassionate staff who understand the importance of the charge we carry: shaping the future.
My leadership is rooted in the belief that education is the key to breaking down barriers and opening doors to limitless possibilities. Through strong partnerships with students, families, educators and the community, we are cultivating a generation of future world changers. At Levan Scott, we are deeply committed to fostering a learning environment where every student feels supported, empowered and inspired to reach their greatest potential.
